Blogging Conferences and Events

Once you’ve been blogging for a little while, and especially once you’ve met some other bloggers online, you may get interested in meeting some of these other bloggers in person. Who are these other people who spend hours behind their computer screens, creating content, and sharing it with the masses? Maybe you want to learn more about your craft, and ask others questions in real-life, and in real time. Perhaps you’re interested in interacting with brands. All of these are great reasons to attend a blogging conference… but don’t answer the real question… which conference should you go to?

There are lots of things to consider when picking a conference to go to – location, cost, timing, and who else is planning on attending are all factors that I consider. Here are some basic details and links to some upcoming conferences (in calendar order). Feel free to add additional conferences and notes in the comments below.

Kendra from Me and My Insanity says, “Evo was great! It really isn’t a crafty conference, though there was a good group of us there last year. Regardless of the conference you choose, I think Vivienne from V-Spot has the right attitude, ” I am very excited and looking forward to learning a little something, but mostly looking forward to actually meeting the women I feel like I already kind of know and love.”

Great round up of blog conferences. I’m attending Haven in June and can’t wait to finally meet bloggers that I’ve been connected with for almost 2 years! If funds allow I’d love to go to BlogHer in NYC this summer!
